In 2015, Natalie Gough was engaged to the love of her life and the future father of her son. Throughout her constant business travels, bridal boutiques became a priority stop. Her experiences ranged from stops at the traditional bridal boutiques with stellar service to upscale boutiques showcasing gorgeous gowns delivered with frigidity where she felt less welcome. Over the course of her shopping journey, she also felt the effect of others’ opinions. It wore her down. Traditional experiences with her closest friends began to shape her choices. They steered her toward their visions. She craved something different. “The biggest challenge for me was that I started to lose sight of myself and what I had initially envisioned. Sure, your tastes might change a bit once you actually get into some dresses and see how different styles look on your body type but the opinions of others changed my commitment to my own style. Now I’m on a mission to encourage brides to stay true to themselves.” Natalie came home with the wrong dress. She eventually sought out the one she truly loved and became driven to help each bride find the gown that makes her feel more confidently her.
